New Life?

Hey again..
A friend recommended I shouldn't give up, here I go again..
Two quick paragraphs about us settling in.

We moved to our new house last week, 120!! boxes, it feels like we've been unpacking forever, we still have 10-12 boxes to unpack or we will store our stuff (that we don't need) in the garage. Living in a house with big back yard is so different than living in Tel-Aviv,for example : who would have thought ill check the sprinkler system AND water the garden. Also, this house has so much space ,so I am now scared that we will buy so much new stuff that that we will give a new meaning to the "Consume or Die" phrase..

Princess
Gal was 4 this week (still cannot belive it)- we threw her a party at the gan with her teacher and freinds, it was a real fun, she was in her element mastering all the other kids to submission like she usually does. Maayan and Gal made a wonderful cake , made goodie bags (classic Gal to know how to say Goodie bags so quickly) wore a princess dress and had a lot of fun. On Sunday we are throwing a small party for her in the back yard, small in American proportions would be more accurate :)..

That's it,
Till next time

Friday Night

Ok,
This is my first blog post, Friday night, Elah's sleeping, Gal and Maayan went to Safeway to get some ..stuff I guess..

Two weeks tomorrow we arrived to Cupertino to our temp apartment and a week since I started work..
The experience so far..nice but. still in the "sye of the storm"..

We are looking for a permanent place, but it's like Tel-Aviv, demand very high, supply very low (10 couples for each place we see and we don't see a lot); but unlike Tel-Aviv, the landlords are just nice :)..they care about their house and they want the tenant to be satisfied.
We are looking for a house or an apt, but the apt's prices are the same as houses so for now we are looking into houses.
At work , it cannot be more different than the Israeli HP/Mercury site
1. VERY quite (==cemetery quite) , no shouts, no throwing bottles above cubes, no loud phone calls...
2. It's beige land - 500 beige cubes in my floor, all look exactly the same and I lost my cube many times in the first days..
3. Diversity - if in Yehud it was DEV next to me , here I sit next to Product management on one side, QA on the other, Marketing 15 feet away (not to mention HR. High level management etc..) ,different but interesting..
That's it for now..
Tomorrow hopefully we will progress with the house and maybe a short trip..
